Goldman Sachs' chief investment banker based in Singapore to leave later this year
Does it have to do with the recent downsizing announcement?
The head of the investment banking arm of Goldman Sachs in Southeast Asia is set to to leave before the year ends but sources of Reuters said the departure has nothing to do with recent job cut plans.
Michael Smith, a former banker at UBS for around 10 years has been with Goldman since 2006. Based in Singapore, he is a partner at Goldman and heads the bank's Asian real estate investment banking team.
