First Data appoints Marc Mathenz as Senior VP

He will also be leading all business initiatives and operations as Head of Asia Pacific.

According to a release, “Marc Mathenz has been serving as the Regional CFO of First Data Asia Pacific, managing all finance functions of the business and overseeing Mergers and Acquisitions. He has been instrumental in driving substantial improvements in profitability in the region during this time. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to this role and we are fortunate to have his leadership to grow and expand in these very important markets” said John Elkins, President, First Data – International Regions. Mathenz will report to Elkins in his new role.

In this new role, Mathenz will develop and execute a region-wide strategy that will focus on continuing to improve business profitability while capitalizing on the significant growth opportunities in Asia Pacific. All country executives in Asia Pacific will report to Mathenz.
