Hg Exchange appoints new chairman

Lawrence Wong will be the Chairman of the Board, starting 1 August. 

Hg Exchange has appointed Lawrence Wong as its new Chairman of the Board, effective on 1 August 2022.

Wong previously served as the Head of Listing and Head of China for the Singapore Exchange (SGX). Prior to his work with SGX, he also held senior management positions in Schroders and OCBC Bank. 

At present, he is an independent director on the boards of Mapletree Pan Asia Commercial Trust Management Ltd. and Hotel Properties Limited.
