UOB shuts China outlets over nCov

A small number of staff will remain in Shanghai and Beijing for customer service.

UOB has closed two banking outlets in Shanghai and Beijing, as well as its commercial banking centre in Kwun Tong, Hong Kong due to the coronavirus, according to a news release.

A small number of staff only remain in Shanghai and Beijing to support critical business and customer service. The Kwun Tong centre will be closed until 14 February.

The bank does not have operations in Hubei Province, the epicenter of the outbreak.

UOB has arranged work-from-home placements, split office measures and tele- or video-conference meetings for its Hong Kong staff as it continues its commercial banking operations in Kowloon and Causeway Bay.

The bank is also advising customers who have been to mainland China in the last 14 days to reschedule their visits to any UOB branches. Mobile and internet banking will be available for clients who are unwell or in quarantine.

This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
