Singtel and ComfortDelGro tie up for in-app taxi booking feature

The partnership will extend Dash users’ ability to pay for their cab fares via QR code.

Singtel has announced a strategic partnership with ComfortDelGro, to develop an in-app taxi booking function on Singtel’s mobile wallet app Dash by end-2019, an announcement revealed.

The partnership extends Dash users’ ability to pay for their cab fares via QR code without administrative fees, as well as a 5% cashback on Comfort and CityCab taxis.

According to Singtel, the new feature will also enable overseas customers of its VIA alliance partners to book ComfortDelGro taxis through the ComfortDelGro booking app when they visit Singapore. VIA currently counts Singtel’s Dash, AIS Global Pay amongst its member mobile wallets.

To celebrate the partnership, Dash customers who are Singtel subscribers can enjoy 1GB of free local mobile data with a minimum of five ComfortDelGro taxi ride payments per month with effect from 6 June.
