ISCA signs MOU supporting development of accountancy entities in SG, China
The agreement will include facilitating exchange opportunities and immersion programmes for students.
To broaden the accountancy field, the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support the development of professional services firms in China and Singapore.
Together with the Administrative Committee of Jiangsu Nanjing Eco Hi-tech Island Economic Development Zone (Administrative Committee) and Sino-Singapore Nanjing Eco Hi-tech Island Development Co. Ltd. (SNECO), ISCA will facilitate exchange opportunities and immersion programmes for undergraduates.
Under the MOU, ISCA and its partners will also collaborate on the establishment of ISCA’s China Chapter and promotion of business lead exchange by supporting one another on annual business development trips to the home jurisdictions of each party and facilitating market access and promoting collaborative cross-border business opportunities between Singapore and Jiangsu.
“Singapore’s professional services firms are well-placed to support businesses in China, with their expertise and experience across key business functions such as accounting, auditing and business advisory, sustainability reporting and consultancy,” said Yiong Yim Ming, vice president of ISCA.
