Bank lending slowed in July
Total bank lending in Singapore only rose by 1.3% over the month compared to 1.7% in June.
In value terms, Singapore-dollar loans made by banks amounted $458.3B, according to Monetary Authority of Singapore.
Annually, total bank loan growth also moderated to 20% against June's 20.9%.
Loans to businesses grew 1.2% MoM to $265.7B while consumer loans rose 1.3% to $192.6B.
