SOCASH expands OCBC's cardless ATM network to 1,500 stores

It allows cash withdrawal from supermarkets, convenience stores, and cafes.

SOCASH will be extending its ATM-free digital cash management and distribution solution to retail and SME clients, thanks to a partnership with OCBC Bank.

With the integration of SOCASH’s network into OCBC’s PayAnyone app, OCBC customers can now withdraw money from more than 1,500 retail outlets. These include supermarkets such as Hao Mart, U Stars and Sheng Siong, convenience stores, and neighbourhood cafes.

This partnership also allows merchants to reduce their reliance on existing cash logistic processes and help SMEs manage their cash processes.

Users can place a physical cash order through the SOCASH app and select a nearby retailer to collect their money whilst the payment is processed digitally via the OCBC’s PayAnyone APIs.
