OCBC launches website for mums

OCBC Bank launched its first e-commerce venture which is an online marketplace for mums-to-be and mums with children aged up to five years, an announcement revealed.

mumstruly.com has a curated range of relevant services for mothers including specialist paediatric or gynaecological services. a lactation televideo service, baby and motherhood products, and wealth and protection schemes like deposit accounts, credit cards and insurance.

The bank have partnered with Robinsons, NTUC FairPrice, Singapore Medical Group and telehealth startup Doctor Health for some offerings on the website. Starhub and Great Eastern are also expected to introduce services on the website soon.

According to the firm, their data analytics team were able to handpick the most relevant products and brands for expectant and new mothers based on their expenditure, especially post-pregnancy.

“OCBC is in the best position to make this work because we understand families, having served this segment as the number one Baby Bonus bank for more than 10 years,” OCBC Bank head of consumer financial services for Singapore Dennis Tan.

OCBC Bank provides over 80% of the total Children Development Accounts (CDAs) in the market which helped them brainstorm and obtain useful data about mothers.
