Arab Banking Corporation opens Singapore branch
It upgraded its representative office after winning a license in November.
Bahrain-based Arab Banking Corporation (ABC) opened its Singapore branch.
According to a press release, it upgraded its representative office, which has been up since 1982, to a full-fledged branch. The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) granted ABC a license to operate a wholesale-bank branch in November.
ABC provides products for corporate banking, trade finance, project and structured finance, amongst others.
It also has a network of retail banks in Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia, and Algeria.
