According to Thomson Reuters, it was the month of May which saw the highest monthly volume.

| • Total proceeds from dim sum bond, or bonds denominated in Chinese Yuan and issued in Hong Kong, reached a total of RMB120.2 billion this year, with China as the biggest contributor to the growth. The month of May this year saw the highest monthly volume in terms of proceeds and was the busiest month in number of issues (40). • Bolstered by the Ministry of Finance’s RMB15.0 billion dim sum bond offering, the financial sector captured majority of the proceeds with 58.9% share, or a total of RMB71.0 billion. Government & Agencies (13.3%), Materials (6.3%) and Industrials (5.2%) accounted for an aggregate market share of 24.8% |
