Beh Swan Gin to step down as ST Engineering's director

The decision not to seek re-election stems from his other commitments.

Economic Development Board (EDB) chairman Beh Swan Gin will step down as ST Engineering's independent non-executive director, according to an announcement.

Beh plans to step down at the company's upcoming annual general meeting (AGM), which was initially scheduled for April 23 but was postponed due to the COVID-19 situation.

ST Engineering said that his decision not to seek re-election stems from his other commitments.

He joined the board six years ago and served as a member of the Budget & Finance Committee since 2015, which was renamed to Strategy & Finance Committee in 2017.

ST Engineering will announce the effective date of his stepping down once the AGM’s date has been determined.
