InvoiceNow integration set for GST-registered companies in 2025
New voluntary GST registrants must comply from April 2026.
From November 2025, the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) will require GST-registered businesses to adopt InvoiceNow’s services for tax administration.
The initiative aims to help businesses improve efficiency in tax compliance by streamlining the process and reducing data preparation efforts for IRAS submissions.
Newly incorporated companies that registered for GST voluntarily will have to adopt the InvoiceNow starting 1 November 2025, whilst all new voluntary GST registrants must comply from April 2026.
The Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) will also extend InvoiceNow’s benefits to newly incorporated businesses, providing them one year of free InvoiceNow services.
Businesses may use the services’ features, including receiving alerts for wrongful GST charges from non-GST registered suppliers.
