Singapore’s dollar will weaken about 2 percent against the greenback by year-end after the central bank “slightly” reduced the pace of the currency’s gains versus those of its trading partners, analysts predict. Read more here.

Apple Pay, Apple’s much-hyped cashless payment service, will be available in Singapore next year, according to a press release by credit card provider American Express. The company announced that consumers will be able to use Apple Pay with its products in Canada and Australia this year, and in Singapore, Spain, and Hong Kong in 2016.
