The Singapore government announced it will slow down the pace of easing restrictions, pending a significant drop in local infections.

The government said starting Monday, restaurants and indoor sports centres may accommodate groups of 2, down from 5 that it initially announced.

The government will continue job support in aid of businesses affected by the restrictions until July as it announced that the work-from-home setup will still be in force.

Eligible businesses will be entitled to a 30% subsidy for three weeks starting on 21 June, and 10% more for two weeks, starting 12 July.

Households have fewer members between 2010 and 2020, the Department of Statistics found in its 2020 Census of Population.

The average household size decreased to 3.2 person, down from 3.5. The report also notec that Malay households continued to be larger on average (3.7 persons) compared to Chinese (3.1 persons) and Indian (3.4 persons) households.
