Nearly $5m of statutory bonds to expire in 2021
Outstanding bonds are now around $26.7b.
This chart from UOB shows that most of Singapore's statutory bonds are set to expire within 2021 to 2022. In 2021, HDB bonds that are set to mature are worth $4.9m. By the next year, the total will dip nearly $4m, which is comprised of bonds from all statutory boards.
Outstanding bonds currently on the market total about $26.7b. These include, in order of amount of bonds outstanding: HDB at $21.8 b, Land Transport Authority (LTA) at $3.5b, and Public Utilities Board at $1.4b.
The latest maturity year for all the outstanding bonds is 2031.
