Singapore rolls out re-domiciliation regime
This will take effect on October 11, 2017.
Singapore launched an inward re-domiciliation regime to boost its competitiveness as a business hub.
According to the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA), the framework will enable foreign companies to transfer their registration to Singapore.
The framework was introduced under recent amendments to the Companies Act.
As a result, any foreign company that registers will become a Singapore company and will have to comply with the Companies Act.
