SBF leads five-day business mission to Indonesia

It's on the lookout for opportunities in Semarang and Yogyakarta.

The Singapore Business Federation, in partnership with the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, Singapore Manufacturing Federation and Sembcorp, will be leading a five-day business mission to Semarang and Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

Participating organisations include senior personnel from two statutory boards – International Enterprise Singapore (IE) and the Building Construction Authority (BCA), as well as two SGX-listed corporations, an industrial park developer, food & beverage manufacturer, furniture design, trader and manufacturer, power supply systems, construction equipment supplier and waste material trader and supplier.

The mission will provide participants opportunities to network with potential business partners, key Indonesian economic government agencies and other Singapore enterprises operating in Indonesia.

The developing sectors in Semarang include furniture, garment, food and beverage and manufacturing. Yogyakarta’s growth industries are education, fine arts, culture, tourism and knowledge-based business sectors such as research, IT, bio-engineering, robotics and business analytics, amongst others.
