According to OCBC, the Ministry of Industry and Trade expects exports for this year to exceed beyond its initial target of US$109.5b, as exports surged to a record high of US$83.8b in the first 3 quarters. Meanwhile, Party Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong commented the need to overhaul the banking system in a speech over state radio.
