Taiwan's industrial production grows to 3.1%
Higher demand for electronics could be pulling the country up.
Taiwan's overall production rose to 3.1% YoY in June from 0.8% in May.
In a report by Moody's Analytics, the rise has been attributed to higher demand for electronic goods.
According data from Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs, production from the sector rose by 4.57% YoY and 1.56% from last month. Manufacturing output also grew 3.6% YoY and 1.11% from May.
Demand from mainland China was also cited as a driving factor of the increase of domestic production in the country.
"The momentum will likely continue in the second half of the year," Moody's Analytics said.
