In his role, Damien is responsible for driving the overall development and growth of Confluent’s business across the Asia-Pacific and Japan region. Prior to Confluent, Damien was Vice President and General Manager for Red Hat across the GEMs region, which included ASEAN, Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan markets. Before his tenure at Red Hat, Damien was the General Manager for HP Software across Southeast Asia. Damien has also held technology and business management roles in companies such as META Group, Firium Solutions and Accenture.
Over his 25-year career in the technology industry, Damien has won numerous awards, including being named Executive of the Year (Computer Software category) in the Singapore Business Review’s Management Excellence Awards for 2018. He graduated from the Imperial College London with a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons), and a Master of Science for Computing Science, degrees. Damien also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Western Australia.

Danny Quant
Danny is an actuary, responsible for Milliman’s Employee Benefits consulting services in Asia and the Middle East. Danny qualified as an actuary in the UK in 1988 and has worked in Asia since 1989, initially in Hong Kong and then Malaysia. He has advised some of the largest companies in the region and several government agencies providing actuarial and investment consulting services. He has been based in Singapore since early 2012.

Dave leads Kaer’s brand experience across Asia. With a background in consumer marketing and over a decade of experience in the real estate industry, Dave specialises in analysing customer insights that drive Kaer’s product development roadmap and customer engagement platform.
As an advocate of the circular economy and the “product-as-a-service” business model, Dave regularly shares experiences with large MNC’s and start-ups who are looking to transition to this disruptive business model. Outside his role at Kaer, Dave is a member of The Global Servitisation For Energy Transition (SET) Alliance and the former Chairman of the British Chamber of Commerce’s Built Environment Committee.

David Baey
David has been a driving force in the Mortgage industry for over 12 years. He started out at DBS specialising in Mortgage and rose to become Branch Business Senior Relationship Manager. He then led the Mortgage department at MoneySmart before co-founding Mortgage Master in 2019. He believes in the win-win-win scenario between customer, bank and broker.
