Yanlord Land Group turns to loss in H1 2024

EPS stood at $0.046.

Yanlord Land Group registered a net loss of $77.5m (RMB421m) in the first half of the year, which fell four times below the $270.9m (RMB1.5b) profit in the preceding year.

The group also saw a loss attributable to owners of the company at $77.5m (RMB421.1m) due to a write-down of completed properties for sale and properties under development for sale and net impairment losses on financial assets.

However, its revenue surged 35% year-on-year from $2.7b (RMB14.8b) in H1 2023 to $3.67b (RMB19.9b) this year. Earnings per share decreased to $0.046 (25.16 RMB cents) from last year’s $0.10 (56.70 RMB cents).
