Mixed-use development 'Hiera' to start construction in 2023

Sinar Mas Land and Mitbana will develop the 108-hectare site.

A mixed-use development will begin construction in Bumi Serpong Damai City in Greater Jakarta, Indonesia next year.

In a joint statement, Mitbana, a joint venture firm of Mitsubishi and Surbana Jurong, and Sinar Mas Land are developing the 108-hectare mixed-use development.

This new development by PT Sinar Mitbana Mas, JV between Mitbana and Sinar Mas Land will feature township and transit-oriented developments.

The development, titled Hiera, will offer a car-free commercial street with retail shops, dining, and entertainment sites.

It will also have a future-pandemic-proof design as well as green spaces. The architects will build a green loop that will provide mobility options such as dedicated sidewalks and bicycle lanes.
