Leasehold strata retail lead H1 deals despite transaction decline
In H1, leasehold sales fell 7.9% HoH to 105 deals.
Despite a decline in transactions, leasehold strata retail properties still accounted for a majority of strata retail deals in H1 2024, Knight Frank reported.
According to the resale estate experts, leasehold sales grew 7.9% HoH to 105 deals; however, its total sales volume increased 10.4% HoH to $291.7m.
Meanwhile, freehold strata retail properties increased by 16.7% HoH to 49 deals.
However, the total sales value in the first half of 2024 fell 49.0% to $115.4n from $226.3m in the second half of 2023.
