JTC launches two sites under industrial government land sales programme

The Tuas South Link 3 plot is available for tender whilst the Tampines North Drive 5 site is available for application.

JTC launched two sites under the second half of the 2018 industrial government land sales (IGLS) programme which is part of the government’s efforts to offer more choices for industrial development, an announcement revealed.

The Tuas South Link 3 (Plot 20) site which is available for tender has a site area of 0.45 Ha and gross plot ratio of 1.4. The site is fifth out of six Confirmed List sites for the second half of the 2018 IGLS programme. In addition, it is zoned for Business-2 use, the announcement highlighted.

The tender will close on 22 January 2019 at 11 a.m.

Meanwhile, the Tampines North Drive 5 (Plot 9) site is available for application. It has a site area of 0.49 Ha and a gross plot ratio of 2.5. It is also zoned for Business-2 use and is the fifth out of seven Reserve List sites for the second half of the 2018 IGLS programme.

Applications for the Tampines North Drive 5 site can be submitted to JTC, the firm noted.

“Under the Reserve List system, a land parcel will only be released for sale if it receives an offer of a minimum price that is acceptable to the government,” the statement highlighted.
