HDB tenders Canberra Link executive condo

This marks the first EC launch of the year.

The Housing and Development Board (HDB) launched an executive condominium site at Canberra Link for sale by public tender today, under the Confirmed List of First Half 2019 Government Land Sales (GLS) Programme.

According to a press release, the site can potentially yield up to 385 residential units.

“The EC site at Canberra Link is next to an earlier launched EC site which was awarded in Sept 2018. It shares similar attributes such as proximity to Canberra MRT station. This is a low density site and should attract a fair bit of interest from developers. We expect prices to be between $520 and $570 psf ppr for this site and number of bidders between five and eight," marketing agent Huttons said in a statement.

The tender for the land parcel at Canberra Link will close at 12 noon on 3 July 2019.

The tender closing for this site is batched with a residential site at Clementi Avenue 1, which was launched by URA in February 2019 under the First Half 2019 GLS Programme.

In addition, the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) will launch a residential with commercial at 1st storey site at Bernam Street for tender in the later part of the month.
