Guocoland celebrates topping out of $3.2b Tanjong Pagar Centre

It is Singapore’s tallest building at 290 metres high.

The last beam has been laid at Tanjong Pagar Centre, an integrated mixed-use development that will be Singapore’s tallest building upon its completion in the middle of the year.

GuocoLand celebrated the topping out ceremony for Tanjong Pagar Centre on Wednesday, in an event attended by Minister for National Development Lawrence Wong.

Tanjong Pagar Centre features integrated commercial, residential and retail spaces, as well as a 150,000 sq ft Urban Park that can accommodate up to 2,000 people in a sheltered event space.

“Tanjong Pagar Centre is GuocoLand Group's $3.2 billion flagship development in Singapore. It will add to our growing portfolio of large-scale integrated mixed-use investment properties in Singapore and the region. This is in line with GuocoLand’s growth strategy to grow our investment income through iconic mixed developments in selected gateway cities in Asia,” said Raymond Choong, President and CEO of GuocoLand Group, in his speech at the ceremony.
