FLT rebrands to Frasers Logistics & Commercial Trust after merger

The new name is said to be in line with its broadened investment mandate.

Frasers Logistics & Industrial Trust (FLT) has been renamed to Frasers Logistics & Commercial Trust (FLCT), after completing the merger between FLT and Frasers Commercial Trust (FCOT), according to a press release.

The new name is said to align with the broadened investment mandate of the enlarged REIT comprising logistics, industrial, commercial and business park properties.

As for its manager, Frasers Logistics & Industrial Asset Management will also be changed to Frasers Logistics & Commercial Asset Management on 28 April.

Both FLT and FCOT unitholders had earlier given their approvals.

Starting 4 May, FLCT’s trading name on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (SGX-ST) will be “Frasers L&C Tr”, with the same stock code, BUOU. FCOT will be delisted from the SGX-ST on 29 April.

The merger has created a diversified portfolio valued at $5.9b, which will benefit from enhanced quality and diversification, with no sector and geography representing more than 60% and 50%, respectively.
