ESR Logos Reit appoints new chief financial officer
Don Kok Chew Meng has experience in finance in the past decade.
ESR Logos Reit named Don Kok Chew Meng as its chief financial officer on 15 August. He will replace Lawrence Chan Wee Kiat.
In an announcement on SGX, the company said Kok is currently the financial controller of ESR Logos Reit’s manager.
Kok is tasked to manage all finance matters “including developing and enforcing capital management strategy through raising of debt and equity.”
According to ESR Logos Reit, Kok has been working with the firm since August 2019. Before this, he was vice president of finance at Ascendas Fund Management Limited from 2015 to 2019.
He also served as finance manager at Ara Asset Management for almost six years.
Kok’s designation came after Chan’s decision to resign “to pursue his own interests.”
“[Chan] will stay with the REIT Manager until October 2022 to ensure an orderly and smooth transition,” read the SGX announcement.
