According to a release, Q Bay Residences, the latest private residential project jointly developed by Frasers Centrepoint, Far East Organization, and Sekisui House, will be launched this Saturday, 19 January 2013. 

Strategically located at the junction of Tampines Avenue 1 and Tampines Avenue 10, Q Bay Residences is the first private condominium to be launched in Tampines in the last two years, and is expected to be completed in May 2017.

Q Bay Residences comprises 630 residential units spread across eight 16-storey blocks. These span a wide variety of unit types to cater to different target markets. They comprise one- to two-bedroom + study Suites for singles and young couples; spacious three-, four-, and five-bedroom ‘Verandah Homes’ for large families; and a mix of TRIO2 units for multi-generational families.

Offering an unobstructed view of the Tampines Quarry Park, Q Bay Residences is designed based on a ‘Bayfront Concept’, and will feature the first-of-its-kind function spaces – the ‘Bay Villas’.

There will be two ‘Bay Villas’, each measuring approximately 870 sq ft inclusive of outdoor spaces. They come complete with pull-out beds, a bathroom, and a kitchenette; and are surrounded by a private garden, pool, and spa.

Q Bay Residences has 124 TRIO units, representing approximately 19.7% of the total number of units within the entire project. These TRIO units comprise two-bedroom + study, three-, and four-bedroom units, with sizes ranging from 883 sq ft to 1,733 sq ft.

In addition, Q Bay Residences will feature 150 ‘Verandah Homes’, which are specially designed to accommodate the lifestyle of the modern family. Each ‘Verandah Home’ comes with an open kitchen centrally integrated with the living room and dining area, extending to the balcony, which can also serve as an alternate dining hall for the family. The integrated layout also provides a conducive space for interactive activities, meeting the needs of families which often host guests at home.

Q Bay Residences also enjoys excellent connectivity to major arterial roads and expressways such as the Pan Island Expressway (PIE), Tampines Expressway (TPE), and East Coast Parkway (ECP). It is also in proximity to the Tampines MRT Station, Tampines Bus Interchange, and the upcoming Tampines West MRT Station (which is part of the future Downtown Line 3).

The development will be launched at an average selling price of S$985 per sq ft. Prices range from S$525,000 for a one-bedroom unit to S$1.7 million for a five-bedroom unit net of all discounts.
