HLH Group breaks ground on maiden freehold mixed development

It’s slated for completion in 28 months.

HLH Group broke ground on D’Seaview, its maiden freehold mixed development project in Sihanoukville, Cambodia. According to the company’s announcement, the project is slated for completion in 28 months.

D’Seaview is a seafront development spans 9,818 sqm, and is located near Sokha Beach. It is HLH Group’s first residential development in Cambodia, though it will have a mix of residential and commercial units.

The development’s units range from one-bedroom and two-bedroom units to three-bedroom and duplex units.

Since D’Seaview’s sales launch in October 2015, over 80% of the 300 units in the development’s Phase 1 have been successfully subscribed by local and international buyers. Prices have ranged from US$675 to US$1,943 per sqm.

“The majority of the buyers are young professionals and businessmen who see good value in owning these homes while the foreign buyers are keen to invest in real estate now in view of Cambodia’s rapidly growing economy,” said Dato Johnny Ong, HLH Group CEO and Deputy Chairman.

He further noted that Cambodia’s GDP is one of the highest in Asia, and will thus herald robust demand for quality housing in the coming years.
