Forterra's The HQ crowned "Showcase Project of Green Construction" by China

Forterra Real Estate Pte. Ltd , as the manager of Forterra Trust (Forterra) is pleased to announce that The HQ Extension, Forterra’s flagship mixed use commercial development in Shanghai has recently been awarded ‘Showcase Project of Green Construction’ by China Construction Industry Association (CCIA).

Established by CCIA in 2011, the ‘Showcase Project of Green Construction’ award is one of the most prestigious accolades in Chinese construction industry recognising the excellence achieved in all aspects of the development process such as sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and land conservation. The HQ is only the fourth project that has been honoured with such status since inception of this award.

Formally launched in October 2011, The HQ is a flagship commercial development that on completion will provide approximately 277,000 sqm of prime retail and office accommodation and deliver more than 100,000 sqm of state-of-the-art world class retail facilities to the vibrant Hongqiao Central Commercial District. Expertly managed by the development team of Forterra, The HQ development has fulfilled all required criteria in its design process and is on target to achieve the LEED Gold certification on its completion in 2014.
