Five shophouses in Kampong Glam for sale at $23.8m

The sites have a total land area of 4,892 sq ft and gross floor area of around 8,013 sq ft.

Five adjoining freehold conservation shophouses in Kampong Glam have been put for sale via public tender until 24 October, with a guide price of $23.8m, Knight Frank announced in a media release

With a total land area of 4,892 sq ft and gross floor area of around 8,013 sq ft, the shophouses are located in Baghdad Street and Muscat Street, nearby eateries and retail shops.

With support from the Singapore Tourism Board, the back alley of Muscat Street also has an outdoor art gallery with art pieces adorning its walls.

“It is a rare opportunity to acquire a block of 5 adjoining shophouses in Kampong Glam as more often than not, transactions in the vicinity are of a smaller scale,” Knight Frank executive director of investments and capital markets Mary Sai said.

The island block of 5 adjoining shophouses are currently fully tenanted, occupied as F&B outlets on the ground floor and offices or additional dining areas on the upper floors.
