Centurion's net profit slipped 60% to $9.2m in Q1
Due to a one-off gain last year.
Centurion Corporation reported that its net profit slipped 60% year-on-year to $9.2m in the first quarter, due mainly to a one-off gain recorded in the same period last year.
The group's revenue rose by 44% year-on-year to $25.3m, mainly contributed by its accommodation business, which registered a healthy year-on-year revenue growth of 56%.
Centurion's optical disc business, on the other hand, experienced a slight decline of S$0.8 million in revenue due to weaker market demands.
