CapitaLand breaks into Dow Jones Sustainability Index

Why was it one of only 20 real estate companies listed worldwide?

CapitaLand said that it outshone most other global competitors in the area of sustainbility performance, which it has been ramping up as part of its corporate strategies. CapitaLand now ranks among the top 340 sustainable companies globally.

Mr Liew Mun Leong, President and CEO of CapitaLand Group, said: “CapitaLand’s inclusion in both the Dow Jones Sustainability World and Asia Pacific indexes this year marks a significant milestone in the Group’s sustainability efforts."

Over 2,500 of the world’s largest companies (by free-float market capitalisation) from 58 sectors were invited to report on their sustainability performance in its annual Corporate Sustainability Assessment, which was then used in part to determine inclusion in the annuak list.
