Oakwood Premier OUE Singapore welcomes its first residents

Getting away from it all might seem impossible for Singaporeans living in one of Asia’s busiest financial and commercial hubs, but the newly opened Oakwood Premier OUE Singapore strives to deliver on such a luxurious escape for executives. The luxurious serviced apartment located in OUE Downtown welcomed its first resident in June and since then has been filling up the occupancy of its 268 units, which comprise of studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments.

Work-life balance was a key consideration when designing this luxury serviced apartment. Executives can spend the day in the luxury serviced apartment’s boardroom with meeting facilities then cap off in the dining and leisure facilities such as the Se7enth restaurant with in-room options, The Oakwood Executive Club lounge, contemporary lobby bar, The Fitness Center by Oakwood, infinity pool and jacuzzi, and even an outdoor barbeque.

“As our minimum stay is 7 nights, all our apartments are designed for guests to live in as if it was their own luxury home,” says Liang. “With the increasing number of ‘bleisure’ travellers, we are noticing that guests are seeking a more ‘home-like’ experience from their accommodation – somewhere where they feel secure, familiar and comfortable.”

Mixing work and play
To deftly mix work and play, this luxury serviced apartment chose a strategic inner city location in the heart of Singapore’s downtown.

Residents on work mode will find easy access to Singapore’s central business district as the property is walking distance to Tanjong Pagar, Raffles Place and Downtown MRT stations.

During their down time, residents can relax within the on-site premises, which include a residents’ lounge. They can pamper themselves inside the unit by cooking in the kitchenette or fully equipped kitchen, taking a soothing shower or bath in their luxury bathroom amenities, or get entertained through the high-speed WiFi connectivity, high-definition flat panel TV with multi-channel cable and Bluetooth sound system.

The luxury serviced apartment has also made adjustments to cater to the growing number of independent travellers. Oakwood Premier OUE Singapore is the second Oakwood property to launch in Singapore, following on the heels of Oakwood Studios on Orchard Road which opened in March.
