This new coworking space in CBD wants to become the largest in APAC

It offers one-day desk rental option.

JustCo, which bills itself as the largest coworking space in terms of size in the central business district (CBD) area, likens itself to ‘Uber’ and ‘Air B&B’ of work spaces. Located at 120 Robinson Road with reception on level 15, and currently occupies four floors in the building, JustCo aims at becoming the largest coworking space not only in Singapore but also in the Asia Pacific in the coming years.

JustCo is part of JustGroup, the company behind the brand local serviced office provider, JustOffice. Driven by insights derived from the experience and success of JustOffice, the team developed JustCo and tapped on the team’s expertise in space planning.

According to the founder and CEO of JustCo, Kong Wan Sing, they are reaching out to more entrepreneurs and start-ups. The new coworking space integrates and connects members into one community and at the same time provides them the option of working independently.

“We believe that a good coworking space takes into consideration the physical, virtual and human elements conducive for enjoyable work culture. It helps businesses be more efficient and collaborative, and it connects them with a community of like-minded entrepreneurs,” said Wan Sing.

According to Wan Sing, one of the advantages that JustCo’s community members experience is that they make it less daunting for enterprising individuals and foreign companies looking to venture into Singapore. JustCo also allows individuals and companies to come in and start working immediately. They provide a one-day desk rental option amongst other things.

The JustCo team worked closely with their designers, to ensure that each space will be differentiated and developed aimed at sparking creativity and improving productivity. At the same time, all these elements come together to create distinctive and recognisable JustCo environment which continues to evolve as their community grows.

“In the true spirit of creating a conducive coworking space, a substantial part of our area in JustCo is allocated for common areas where members go for discussions, collaborations and relaxation,” said Wan Sing.

The new office features a ping pong table, a foosball table and arcade machines, which appeal not only to their staff members but also to their visitors and associates.

“JustCo is championing the movement of the sharing economy, encouraging collaborations to boost innovation and productivity. We liken ourselves to ‘Uber’ and ‘Air B&B’ of work spaces. In fact, our sheer size and the large community we are growing allow us to drive the concept of sharing economy more deeply and thoroughly compared to smaller players,” he said.

JustCo’s ‘Let’s Make Work Better’

With JustCo’s vision of ‘Let’s Make Work Better’, Wan Sing said that embodying this vision is a challenge which they address head on. The team, he said, stay ahead of the curve by continuing to build a comprehensive community beyond the office space. This includes engagement with and amongst their community offline and online.

“The team has been very single-minded in our approach to JustCo, which is to shape a cohesive environment for our community members. With that in mind, we have made it our mission to make work better by providing better office solutions, better working communities and better relationships with our members and partners,” said Wan Sing.

Wan Sing adds that they are committed to the success of their members and every day they are exploring different avenues to enrich their members, whether through events, facilitated collaborations, or other programmes.

“As a locally-grown business ourselves which has been successful in expanding and attracting investors, we understand what it takes to be a successful start-up and we apply this in the way we set up and continue to evolve JustCo. Our team is passionate and very engaged with our community members,” he said.

JustGroup recently received an additional investment by asset management firms Tikehau Capital Partners from Europe and Pinetree Capital Partners from Singapore, and the company plans to expand both locally and in Asia Pacific. While Wan Sing said that their clients of coworking spaces and serviced offices in Singapore are keen to work with them in other markets, such as the next destination Shanghai.
