WBL Corp appoints three non-executive directors

Jackson Chevalier Yap Kit Siong and Wong Hein Jee was appointed by United Engineers while Soon Tit Koon was appointed by the company's Board.

The Board of WBL Corp announced the appointment of Jackson Chevalier Yap Kit Siong, Wong Hein Jee and Soon Tit Koon as non-executive non-independent directors.

Mr Yap, 61, is currently group managing director & CEO of United Engineers since 1999. Prior to this he was COO of United Engineers from 1997 to 1999.

Mr Wong, 49, is currently CFO of United Engineers since October 2011. Before this he was group CFO and head of Corporate of Tat Hong Holdings from August 2009 to August 2011 and group CFO of WBL Corporation from February 2006 to July 2009, according to a WBL Corp report.

Meanwhile, Mr Soon, 61, is currently adviser to OCBC Bank (on contract basis) since January 2012. Prior to this, he was CFO (April 2010 to November 2011) and head of group investments (June 2008 to April 2010) of OCBC Bank.
