Venture Corp appoints Victoria Ko Miu Ha as Chief Financial Officer

Among the Ms. Ko's responsibilities are finance and accounting functions, treasury, financial planning, credit management, and internal audit functions. 

The Board of Venture Corporation announced the appointment of  Ms Ko Victoria Ko Miu Ha as Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Ko possesses the requisite financial and business management experience and capabilities for the role as Chief Financial Officer.

Ms Ko's areas of responsibilities include finance and accounting functions, treasury, financial planning, credit management, internal audit functions, tax, risk management and other general corporate and administrative functions, according to a Venture Corp report.

Ms Ko holds a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from the City University Business School, United Kingdom, a Bachelor of Science (Economics) from London School of Economics and an LLB (Honours) from the University of London. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. She is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Ms Ko brings along a wealth of commercial experience in corporate finance and audit. Prior to joining Venture Corporation Limited, she was with WBL Corp as Chief Financial Officer between August 2009 and June 2011; and The Straits Trading Company's Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer before leaving in July 2009.
