Geyer names Marc Shamma'a as strategic consultant in Asia

According to a release, strategic design firm Geyer appointed Marc Shamma as Strategic Consultant--Asia.

Marc Shamma'a brings to Geyer over 20 years of consulting experience in Asia and Europe.

Marc’s expertise in workplace strategy and change management complements Geyer's strategic consulting team with unique insights into the direct relationship between the quantifiable business benefits that accrue to an organisation and workplace strategy, interior design and change management, set in the context of the corporate real estate strategies required to support these goals.

Marc has been based in Singapore for over five years where he has helped MNC clients develop business cases for, and later implementation of, portfolio and workplace strategies that respond to clients’ specific drivers in terms of cost effectiveness, demand volatility culture and business imperatives.

Working as a Director at DEGW, Singapore, and at JLL (APAC), he has advised MNCs as diverse as Nokia Siemens Networks, HSBC, Microsoft, Shell, Celcom Axiata, British Telecom, as well as public sector clients such as the Economic Development Board and Ministry of National Development of Singapore.

He has also presented to the “Future of Work” working group of the Singapore Government. Marc has delivered projects in Singapore, India, Malaysia, Brunei, Hong Kong and China as well as having worked extensively in Europe in management consulting roles for PriceWaterhouse Coopers and IBM.

Marc is currently studying for an executive Diploma in Strategy and Innovation at Oxford University Saïd Business School. He also holds an MBA from Cranfield University School of Management (UK) and is a UK-registered architect.
