Amtek Engineering names Jocelin Soon Swee Har as Deputy Chief Financial Officer

Ms Soon will remain as the company's Joint Company Secretary.

The Board of Amtek Engineering announced the appointment of Jocelin Soon Swee Har as Deputy Chief Financial Officer.

Ms. Soon, who is currently Vice President, Finance and Joint Company Secretary, will be promoted to Deputy Chief Financial Officer with effect from 1 July 2012. She will continue to be a Joint Company Secretary. The Nominating Committee has considered Ms. Soon's contributions and experience, and has recommended her promotion to the Board for approval.

Ms Soon, 29, will be responsible for the overall financial reporting and treasury functions of the Group and will also be involved in human resources and management information systems functions, according to a Amtek Engineering report.

She held the Vice President, Finance post in the company since 2010. Before this, she was Group Finance Manager of Banyan Tree Holdings Limited from 2009 to 2010. and Audit Manager of Ernst & Young LLP from 2004 to 2009.
