Amtek Engineering appoints Adrian Teo Guan How as Regional Chief Operating Officer

He will be in charge of the overall responsibility of the Group's operations in South Asia.

The Board of Amtek Engineering announced the appointment of Adrian Teo Guan How as Regional Chief Operating Officer of South Asia. Mr. Teo, currently the Human Resources Director, has been covering the duties of Mr. Chong Yong Min, President, South Asia, when he went on medical leave. Mr. Chong is now on extended medical leave. Therefore, Mr. Teo will assume the post of Regional COO, South Asia with effect from 1 July 2012. He will relinquish his role as the Human Resources Director. The Nominating Committee has considered Mr. Teo's contributions and experience, and had recommended his promotion to the Board for approval.

Mr Teo, 52, will have overall responsibility of the Group's operations in South Asia, including business development.

Since 2008 he has been Human Resources Director, and also covering duties of President, South Asia (who was on medical leave) of Amtek Engineering Ltd. Prior to this he was Director, Worldwide Sourcing Quality Assurance Network; Managing Director, Plastics Division; and Division Manager, Manufacturing Operations of Thomson Asia Pacific Pte Ltd from 1999 to 2007, according to an Amtek Engineering report.
