
Singapore-Kuala Lumpur High Speed Rail Project talks resume
The prime ministers of Singapore and Malaysia conversed on 2 December.
Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Malaysia's Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin have had a video conference call on the Singapore-Kuala Lumpur High Speed Rail Project on 2 December.
According to a joint press statement, the conference was held in view of the 31 December deadline for the second and final extension of the project’s suspension.
Both prime ministers “took stock of the progress of discussions, and gained a good understanding of Malaysia and Singapore’s respective positions,” the statement said.
Further details on the HSR Project would be announced by both sides.
