ST Kinetics secures 4 S$160mln contracts with Singapore Armed Forces

Deals to maintain SAF’s vehicles and equipments are part of the unit’s assurance to keep itself abreast with SAF’s changing needs.

ST Engineering on Wednesday announced that its land systems arm, ST Kinetics, has secured two four-year contracts from the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) worth a total of S$160m, for the maintenance of SAF’s vehicles and for the preservation of SAF’s fleet of equipment respectively, with an option for a two-year extension for the preservation contract. Both contracts run concurrently and will commence immediately, according to an ST Engineering report.

ST Kinetics has been providing dedicated engineering services and performing depot-level maintenance, repair and overhaul of SAF vehicles and their components for more than 15 years under a Strategic Sourcing contract.

Similarly, ST Kinetics has been providing, for the last 15 years, preventive and corrective maintenance, and preservation support of a wide range of equipment for the SAF under a series of Vehicle Preservation Services contracts.

With years of excellent support and a good understanding of the needs of the SAF, ST Kinetics has constantly been building new capabilities to ensure that it brings value and stays relevant to the changing needs of the SAF.
