KSH awarded S$42.5m construction contract by UWCSEA

Lifts order book past S$430m mark.

SGX-ST Mainboard-listed KSH Holdings Limited (KSH), a well-established construction, property development and property management group, today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Kim Seng Heng Engineering Construction (Pte) Ltd., has been awarded a S$42.5 million construction contract by United World College of South East Asia (UWCSEA).

Under the contract, the Group will carry out work on the proposed addition of 1 block of five-storey building with other ancillary works to the existing UWCSEA campus at 1207 Dover Road Singapore 139654. Construction is expected to commence in December 2013, with completion expected within 20 months.

Said Mr. Choo Chee Onn, Executive Chairman and Managing Director of KSH, “We are pleased to be awarded this construction contract by UWCSEA, an established international school in Singapore. This further validates our track record in construction for educational institutions, including the award-winning Education Resource Centre and two residential colleges for the National University of Singapore. Having successfully completed these projects, we look forward to employing our expertise and A1-grade construction services for this new project.”

Year-to-date, KSH has won construction projects amounting to S$343.6 million in Singapore and RMB157.0 million in Beijing, People’s Republic of China. KSH’s existing construction order book, which stands at more than S$430.0 million, is expected to contribute to the Group’s financial results up till FY2016.
