Spacemob at Ascent is more than just a co-working space

Spacemob at Ascent, from co-working space provider Spacemob, is a 14,000 sq ft space that will provide small businesses with cost-effective spaces, close proximity to key research and tertiary institutions, R&D, high-tech innovation, and startup communities.

“The team has placed immense focus on the breathability of the space,” says Turochas “T” Fuad, founder, Spacemob. “ With subtle accents of colour, bold mixtures of textural elements, and reduced spatial opacity, they wanted the new location to be inviting to all who come through its doors.”

He notes that Spacemob at Ascent offers members state-of-the art facilities, ergonomic chairs, adjustable desks, complimentary group health insurance, payroll software, media rooms, and a host of signature tools and technology that a business needs to thrive. Space amenities include workspace facilities – offices and meeting rooms of various sizes, with boardrooms able to take up to 12 people – and an event space with stadium seating good for up to 60 people.

It is located opposite Kent Ridge MRT Station at Singapore Science Park 1. “It's both convenient and also surrounded by nature – the perfect blend of energy from the eateries in the area, and also the peacefulness of being away from the bustle of the city,” comments Fuad, who also notes that nature is the pervasive element of the Science Park, with natural light and view of greenery throughout.

Spacemob at Ascent aims to provide members with the tools and training they need to take their business to the next level, says Fuad. “Unusually for a co-working business, the rest of the team at Spacemob is made up of tech experts ranging from engineers to iOS and android developers,” he shares. “The idea behind this is for Spacemob to develop its own proprietary technology to assist members in growing their business.”
