Medtecs Intl saw the sharpest decline amongst top active stocks with a 8.11% contraction.
The Straits Times Index ended 12.06 or 0.47% lower at 2,555.59.
The top active stocks were Medtecs Intl, which fell 8.11%, DBS, which dropped 1.25%, Singtel, which inched up 1.38%, Wilmar Intl, which edged up 0.22%, and SPH with a 4.76% contraction.
The FTSE Mid Cap decreased 0.74%, whilst the FTSE Small Cap dipped 0.12%.
