Tiger Airways now fourth best on-time airline in Asia

Singapore's budget carrier is the best non-Japanese airline with 92.10% on-time flights.

Tiger Airways rose its on-time performance in July from 90.58% in June, according to FlightStats' July 2012 Asian Carrier Arrival Performance Report for passenger flights.

Only J-Air, JAL Express and Hokkaido International Airlines Co. beat out Tiger Airways in on-time performance.

Tiger Airways outperformns even the national carrier Singapore Airlines, which deteriorated to 79.69% on-time flights from 81.86% in June.

Tiger Airways kept late flights to a minimum at 3.84%, the best showing among the Top 30 Asian carriers list, and had minimal very late (2.07%) and excessively late (2%) flights. It also had only 1 cancelled flight and no diverted flights.
