Singapore to Manila and Bangkok emerge as Jetstar’s top routes for 2023

In 2023, the airline also launched four routes from Singapore to cities in China and Japan.

Jetstar’s most popular routes for 2023 were from Singapore to Manila and Bangkok, the airline revealed in its Year in Review report.

The airline cited increased business travel and reconnecting with family and friends as drivers for demand for flights from Singapore to Manila and Bangkok.

In 2023, Jetstar also launched four routes from Singapore: to Okinawa and Osaka in Japan and Wuxi and Haikou in China.

Apart from Japan and China, Jetstar also saw increased demand for flights to Bangkok, Bali, and Phuket.

Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
