
Singapore Airlines deploys A330-300s on more routes
SIA will replace its Boeing 777 operations on particular destinations and also start using Airbus A330-300s on regional routes.
The A330-300s will be deployed starting 28 March 2010 to replace the Boeing 777s in serving Abu Dhabi, Jeddah, Kuwait and Male. The aircraft will start serving Fukuoka and Taipei 28 April onwards, and Colombo staring 1 May.
Other regional and medium-haul routes are also set to feature the A330-300 aircraft within the year.
Ten A330-300s, configured in a two-class layout with 30 Business Class and 255 Economy Class seats, are due to be delivered by the end of 2010 adding to the current lineup of nine.
